HELLO, Looking for a chipper that will handle brush with4' and under capacity. I am looking for a chipper that I can mount (when needed) to the front of my landscape trailer and I do not believe the next model up will fit .I have a combo dump with 14' dump and 10' front flat area. I wanted know how this chipper will do with landscape tearouts like yews and junipers and misc. shrubs. I do realize the stumps can not go through. im concerned this maybe to small of a unit ? I like having the ability to mount on trailer if needed or I can tow behind as well. any thoughts are appreciated

Answer
Christopher,
The chipper does not work well for small-diameter green material. Smaller shrubs are too soft for the chipper knives to dig into and cut properly. I believe that you will be better off with a BXMT4224 chipper-shredder. The shredder will work better for the small green material.
