Answer
Kirk,
I apologize for the delay.
The PTO shaft is included with the BXM32. This is a longer one that may need to be cut in order to accommodate the wide range of tractor designs out there.
You may avoid the $50 lift gate as long as you can unload the chipper/shredder from the delivery truck. It weighs 445lbs.
The BXM 32 is a combination chipper-shredder. There are 2 chambers. Feed through the end (up to 3”)runs through the 2-blade chipper rotor, which produces chips about the size of your thumbnail. Feeding through the top (up to1”) feeds through 3 rows of shredding knives, which produces a fiber mulch.
The Jinma is a straight chipper, not a shredder. It looks like a lot of bolt-together lighter metal: even the rotor housing looks like it bolts together. It looks like the Jinma is roller-feed, which is an advantage with brush, but the angle on the feed chute of the BXM32 helps make up for that, using gravity. The Jinma looks like it has a square feed hole at the rotor, which makes it difficult for odd-shaped branches or ones with limbs, whereas the BXM32 has a rectangular feed hole (3”X6”) to accommodate pieces like that. I would say BXM 32 has a simpler construction with welded plate. Parts availability is not a problem with the BXM32
The rotor weighs 70lbs.
Although 20HP will run it , it will work best with at least 25hp.
