Hi Bob
I have a few questions that I was hoping you could answer for me RE the BX102RPI.
Are the knives or blades able to be sharpened once they are blunt? or do you have to replace them after rotating?
Can you operate the intellifeed manually? We sometimes find that branches don't want to co-operate and then you have to reverse the rollers so that you can get the branch out so you can turn it slightly to get a better angle.
I've watched the videos and the machine looks pretty rugged. Would you say it has an easy operation and that it can be easily maintained?
I look forward to your feedback.

Answer
James,
Unfortunately we cannot ship to Alaska.
The knives can be sharpened. However, care must be taken to keep the correct bevel angle, to have them all the same size when done, and not to remove the temper by overheating.
The Intellifeed can be operated with the forward/reverse handle like any of the other roller-feed chippers, and the feed characteristics can be changed through the settings on the module, as outlined in the Owner’s Manual.
Overall Wallenstein produces extremely high end equipment that is pretty easy to use and the maintenance is standard.
