On the power meter, I assume that it is rated for use on the outside of equipment (i.e. I won't have to open access panels)

Alan - correct, the ENM T56F6 hour meter is designed so it can be used as a surface mounted unit

I was going to attach this to a generator in the back of my pickup, as I travel across country. Will road vibration falsely indicate road vibration?
