Chipper is easy to assemble, start and chip. Does a great job on leaves (especially with leaf vacuum kit) and small twigs. Chips small (straight) branches very easily.
1) Bag "attachment" needs some work. It is difficult to put the bag on, and unless you really have it cinched down tight, it will blow shredded material out easily. I am contemplating "designing" a better chute/bag holder.
2) Handle sits a little low if you want to move the chipper a very short distance. To tip it to the "balancing point", I have to stoop over (and I'm not that tall). A couple of inches more height on the handle would help.
3) Safety cover on the chipper chute is definitely safe, but difficult to feed anything in that is not almost perfectly straight. We have a lot of native Oaks here that twist and turn, and it is difficult to feed them into the chipper. Unfortunately, removing the safety cover on the chipper supposedly voids its warranty.
This is the best chipper on the market (in my opinion) for the money. You can get better chippers, but you are going to pay a hefty price for them, and they often will not have any more capacity than the Earthquake.
Overall, a good product.
